About the Photon

Whether you’re facing a tight fairway or a wide-open bomb shot, the Photon from MVP adapts with confidence. With flight numbers Speed 11.0, Glide 5.0, Turn -1.0, and Fade 2.5, this distance driver offers a flight pattern suited for intermediate and advanced players. Its glide makes it ideal for open shots or wooded lanes where staying in the air matters. Its understability offers natural rightward drift for hyzer flips and turnover lines. Its fade brings it home reliably, perfect for controlled landings. Perfect for shaping S-lines or flex shots on wooded courses.

The plastic: Neutron

Neutron Plastic (MVP): MVP's flagship plastic, Neutron, is known for its vibrant colors that make it easy to spot in any terrain. It shares the same durable structure as Proton plastic, offering long-lasting performance. The soft variant adds a touch of flexibility, making it slightly grippier while still maintaining its durability.

How it flies now

Condition 6. Seasoned. Thrown many rounds, scratches and minor rim dings, but in fully good shape. This is where it has settled: less fade, more glide, and on a flat release it goes straight where a new one would have hyzered out. Photon is stable: new it flies straight with a clear fade at the end, seasoned it holds the straight part longer.

About used discs

A disc seasons as it gets thrown. The rim wears, the fade softens and the disc flies straighter than its flight numbers say. Premium plastic holds its shape for a long time, base plastic seasons in a few rounds, and an overstable disc takes it better than an understable one.
