About the Stag

Step up your game with the Stag by Westside Discs, a versatile fairway driver trusted by players looking for dependable performance. With flight numbers Speed 8.0, Glide 6.0, Turn -1.0, and Fade 2.0, this fairway driver offers a flight pattern suited for intermediate and advanced players. This disc stays aloft with beautiful control, perfect for shaping long lines. Throw it flat and watch it ride gently to the right before fading back. Finishes with a confident fade—reliable into headwinds or for strategic placement. You’ll love it off the tee—or as a reliable option for second shots.

The plastic: VIP

VIP Plastic (Comparable to Latitude 64 Opto Plastic): Westside's VIP plastic is 98% similar to Latitude 64’s Opto plastic. This high-tech plastic offers exceptional durability, allowing discs to retain their flight characteristics over time. The metal flake version provides more stability in flight.

How it flies now

Condition 7. Barely seasoned. A few rounds, no heavy dings, lots left to give. The fade has softened a notch and it holds a straight line a little longer, but the flight numbers still hold. Stag is stable: new it flies straight with a clear fade at the end, seasoned it holds the straight part longer.

About used discs

A disc seasons as it gets thrown. The rim wears, the fade softens and the disc flies straighter than its flight numbers say. Premium plastic holds its shape for a long time, base plastic seasons in a few rounds, and an overstable disc takes it better than an understable one.
