Magician Active Premium (7)

The Magician is a stable speed-6 fairway driver with flight numbers 6/4/0/2, designed to give players a trustworthy, repeatable line in a wide range of conditions. The smaller rim feels comfortable for all hand sizes, and the disc flies straight with minimal turn before easing into a reliable fade, which also makes it a clean forehand approach option in addition to its backhand role. Out of the box it resists turning over under typical power and finishes consistently. As the Magician wears in, the fade softens and the flight trends toward straight, then gently understable for shaped turnovers and longer flex lines. Discmania premium plastics such as Active hold the listed flight longest, while baseline blends season faster toward a more understable, straighter-finishing fairway driver.

Plast: Active Premium: Active Premium is Discmania's mid-tier plastic, sitting between the soft baseline Active line and the brand's flagship premium blends like S-line and C-line. It offers a noticeable durability upgrade over standard Active while remaining more affordable than top-tier plastics, making it a popular bridge option for improving players who want a longer-lasting disc without paying full premium pricing. The hand-feel is firmer and less tacky than Active, with an opaque to lightly translucent finish. Active Premium suits drivers and midranges where balanced longevity matters, and it holds flight numbers reasonably well across a season of regular play. As a mid-tier plastic, Active Premium will season noticeably across a season of regular play, falling between the rapid wear of baseline Active and the long-stable flight of Discmania's full premium lines.
