Proxy Electron Soft (6)

The Axiom Proxy is a straight-stable putt-and-approach disc with flight numbers 3 / 3 / -1 / 0.5, sharing the Envy's low-profile core and grip but trading the Envy's overstable bite for a straighter, more workable finish. A short wing and wide flight plate give it superior glide, and a touch of high-speed turn lets stronger throwers shape lines over a broad range of power while helping lower-power throwers achieve straight putter drives. From the circle it putts smooth and confident; off the tee it holds a flat line with just a hint of finishing fade. As it wears, the Proxy trends from straight-stable toward understable, opening up easy turnover approaches and softer flips. In premium GYRO plastics like Neutron, Plasma, Cosmic Neutron, Eclipse Glow Neutron, Fission, or Proton the original profile lasts longest, while baseline Electron Soft, Electron, and Electron Firm season in faster to a more turnover-friendly Proxy.

Plast: Electron Soft: Electron Soft is the most pliable version of Axiom's Electron blend, with a noticeably tacky, almost spongy hand-feel that conforms slightly to the fingers on release. It is the go-to choice for putting putters and touch approach discs where grip and a soft landing trump maximum durability. The soft formulation absorbs impacts on chains and trees better than firmer plastics, reducing skip and roll-away on missed putts. It will show beat-in faster than standard or firm Electron, but for inside-the-circle work that tradeoff is usually welcome. As a premium plastic, Electron Soft holds the disc's listed flight numbers longer than baseline blends, though the soft chemistry means it will season noticeably faster than the firmer variants of the same family.
