Dome 12.4 mm, more than usual. Parting line 6.5 mm, lower than usual. Compared with 4 other Firebird discs.

This one can glide a little more and fly a little less stable than most Firebird discs.

Measured from the side photo of this exact disc. Discs of one mold differ from run to run. Flight also depends on wear and how you throw.

About the Firebird

The Firebird from Innova is no ordinary fairway driver—it’s crafted to redefine your expectations on the course. With flight numbers Speed 9.0, Glide 3.0, Turn 0.0, and Fade 4.0, this fairway driver offers a flight pattern suited for advanced players. Expect a consistent hyzer finish that locks in your landing zone. From windy days to tunnel shots, it shines when it counts most.

The plastic: Star

Champion-Like Plastic: Similar in durability to Champion plastic but with a bit more grip; considered a premium plastic.

How it flies now

Condition 6. Seasoned. Thrown many rounds, scratches and minor rim dings, but in fully good shape. This is where it has settled: less fade, more glide, and on a flat release it goes straight where a new one would have hyzered out. Firebird is seriously overstable with fade in reserve: seasoning softens the hyzer a little, but it never stops finishing.

About used discs

A disc seasons as it gets thrown. The rim wears, the fade softens and the disc flies straighter than its flight numbers say. Premium plastic holds its shape for a long time, base plastic seasons in a few rounds, and an overstable disc takes it better than an understable one.
