The CD1 (formerly the CD2) is a Discmania control fairway driver at 9/5/-1/2 S/G/T/F, designed to give the thrower full shaping freedom on a wide range of fairway lines. The flight numbers point to a stable profile: a hint of high-speed turn for shot shape, paired with a dependable but modest low-speed fade. Thrown flat with smooth power, it tracks straight with a soft late finish; on hyzer it holds the angle, and on anhyzer it cruises out before settling. It handles most wind conditions, but is most comfortable in tailwinds and calm air rather than strong headwinds. As it wears in, the turn deepens and the fade softens, moving the disc from stable toward straight-to-understable, which makes it useful as a long-glide flex driver later in its life. In premium S-Line, Metal Flake or Horizon plastic the listed flight is preserved for many rounds, while baseline Active or P-Line CD1s season noticeably faster toward a more understable feel.

Plast: C-Line: Discmania C-Line is the brand's flagship premium blend, prized for top-tier durability paired with a clean, slightly translucent shimmer that lets pigment and stamp pop. The grip leans firm and confident in dry hands and stays predictable in light moisture, holding shape after repeated tree contact and rocky landings. C-Line was developed alongside Innova's tooling lineage, so it favors throwers who want overstable molds to hang onto their stated fade for hundreds of rounds. Premium plastics like C-Line hold listed flight numbers far longer, while baseline plastics deepen turn and soften fade within weeks. Discmania Color Glow blends colored pigment with glow-in-the-dark phosphors in a Discmania base plastic, offering both daytime color and nighttime visibility after charging under bright light or a UV lamp. The glow additive is a cosmetic blend that does not change wear rate, and the underlying base plastic's tier drives all flight evolution. A Color Glow disc breaks in and turns over at exactly the same rate as the same mold in standard plastic — the pigment does not seed or slow the seasoning process. On the second-hand market Color Glow holds value much like the base plastic it sits on, with a small extra pull from night-league players who want a charged disc on the course. It is not a sought-after collector premium on its own, so resale tracks the condition and stability of the underlying run rather than the glow finish.
