The Kastaplast Järn, named after the Swedish word for iron, is an overstable approach midrange whose low profile makes it easy to grip and easy to release for both touchy flex shots and flat-out hyzers. With a 4.5/3/0/3 flight rating it is firmly overstable with low glide and a strong, predictable fade. Fresh, the Järn resists turn at every power level, drops in hard on spike-hyzer approaches, holds tight forehand lines and finishes reliably into headwinds, which makes it a trusted scramble and utility disc inside 100 metres. As it beats in the Järn loses very little of its overstability, gradually softening into a still-stable workhorse approach disc for flex shots and forehand utility. In premium K1 or K1 Hard plastic it keeps its hard finish for a long time, while baseline K3 offers a tackier, softer feel that suits players who want a more putter-like grip on their approach tool.

Plast: K3: K3 is Kastaplast's mid-tier baseline blend, a softer and grippier alternative to the premium K1 family aimed at putters, approach molds, and players who want immediate broken-in feel. The plastic is opaque, tacky, and forgiving in the hand, which makes it easy to trust on touch shots and short approaches. K3 trades long-haul durability for that feel and price point, so flight retention is shorter than K1. Premium plastics hold their listed flight far longer; K3 will season faster, drifting toward deeper turn and softer, earlier fade within a few weeks of regular play as the rim picks up nicks and the flight plate flexes in.
