The Axiom Proxy is a straight-stable putt-and-approach disc with flight numbers 3 / 3 / -1 / 0.5, sharing the Envy's low-profile core and grip but trading the Envy's overstable bite for a straighter, more workable finish. A short wing and wide flight plate give it superior glide, and a touch of high-speed turn lets stronger throwers shape lines over a broad range of power while helping lower-power throwers achieve straight putter drives. From the circle it putts smooth and confident; off the tee it holds a flat line with just a hint of finishing fade. As it wears, the Proxy trends from straight-stable toward understable, opening up easy turnover approaches and softer flips. In premium GYRO plastics like Neutron, Plasma, Cosmic Neutron, Eclipse Glow Neutron, Fission, or Proton the original profile lasts longest, while baseline Electron Soft, Electron, and Electron Firm season in faster to a more turnover-friendly Proxy.
Plast: Eclipse: Axiom Soft is a lower-durometer mix within the Electron line, giving a grippier, more pliable feel preferred by some putter players. The polymer family is unchanged, so it is a firmness grade, not a different plastic. Flight follows the Electron base: the softer pour does not change a mold's stability, glide, turn or fade on its own. Wear rate follows the parent Electron base in the premium tier, though softer rims show grip patina sooner, so a Soft copy may feel worn in a touch faster while seasoning broadly like Electron. On the second-hand market Soft putters hold value well with grip-focused players and sell in line with the Electron tier.
