Our brand is dedicated to the disc golf culture, the people, the lifestyle and all the fun moments around the disc golf world. We see disc golf as a grassroots movement with its own unique identity characterized by spontaneity, individuality and freedom.
The business started in 2011 as a small prototype workshop, driven by the desire to experiment, and soon grew out of the basement when Jonas Lindberg was joined by Anders Källström and Per Jonson. "The 'workshop' style of developing discs has remained, however, with a mix of computer flight simulation, research and extensive prototyping.
With our team of players, currently represented in nine countries, as well as many partners of various kinds, we feel that Kastaplast of today is so much more than just a company. It is rather a community, with a common love for disc golf and the mint green color.
Kastaplast is determined to keep its ecological footprint as low as possible. One step in that direction is the use of solar energy, which today drives a large part of our production. Recycling is another. Moving towards sustainability is important to us and is an ongoing process.
It is a long journey and it has only just begun.
