About the Grym

The Grym from Kastaplast is no ordinary distance driver—it’s crafted to redefine your expectations on the course. With flight numbers Speed 13.0, Glide 5.0, Turn -2.0, and Fade 2.0, this distance driver offers a flight pattern suited for intermediate and advanced players. It hovers effortlessly with impressive glide, carrying further than you'd expect. Expect a smooth turn that makes shaping right-leaning lines a breeze. Expect a consistent hyzer finish that locks in your landing zone. Great for forehands, backhands, or tricky lies where trust is everything.

The plastic: K1

K1 Line: A very durable plastic available in both translucent and opaque colors.

How it flies now

Condition 7. Barely seasoned. A few rounds, no heavy dings, lots left to give. The fade has softened a notch and it holds a straight line a little longer, but the flight numbers still hold. Grym is understable straight from the factory: expect a flip to flat, and the more seasoned the more turn.

About used discs

A disc seasons as it gets thrown. The rim wears, the fade softens and the disc flies straighter than its flight numbers say. Premium plastic holds its shape for a long time, base plastic seasons in a few rounds, and an overstable disc takes it better than an understable one.
