This one can fly a little more stable than most Thunderbird discs.
Measured from the side photo of this exact disc. Discs of one mold differ from run to run. Flight also depends on wear and how you throw.
About the Thunderbird
Designed with precision and built for flight, the Thunderbird from Innova is your go-to fairway driver when consistency matters. With flight numbers Speed 9.0, Glide 5.0, Turn 0.0, and Fade 2.0, this fairway driver offers a flight pattern suited for advanced players. Glide like this makes it a favorite for both power arms and finesse throwers alike. Not afraid of wind, this disc wraps up its flight with dependable stability. Great for forehands, backhands, or tricky lies where trust is everything.
The plastic: Champion
Champion plastic from Innova is a premium quality plastic that maintains a similar flight even after multiple tree hits. Discs in Champion plastic are typically more stable and transparent.
How it flies now
Condition 7. Barely seasoned. A few rounds, no heavy dings, lots left to give. The fade has softened a notch and it holds a straight line a little longer, but the flight numbers still hold. Thunderbird is stable: new it flies straight with a clear fade at the end, seasoned it holds the straight part longer.
About used discs
A disc seasons as it gets thrown. The rim wears, the fade softens and the disc flies straighter than its flight numbers say. Premium plastic holds its shape for a long time, base plastic seasons in a few rounds, and an overstable disc takes it better than an understable one.
