Rollo Champion (7)

The Innova Rollo is a very understable midrange (5/6/-4/1) designed, as the name suggests, primarily for rolling. Most players will find it easier to lay on its edge and roll than just about any other disc, and the combination of high glide and deep turn also makes it a useful tool for woods play, where backhand throwers can shape long, flippy lines around corners. With a -4 turn and only a 1 fade, the Rollo flips readily on any reasonable power and holds extended anhyzer lines before settling with a minimal finish. As the plastic wears, the turn deepens further and the fade fades to nearly nothing, cementing its identity as a dedicated roller and turnover disc rather than a neutral midrange. Innova premium plastics such as Star and Champion hold the listed flight numbers longest, while baseline DX and Pro season faster toward a fully understable roller profile.

Plast: Champion: Champion is Innova's long-running premium plastic, a clear, hi-tech blend built for outstanding durability and predictable flight. Discs in this line carry a distinctive transparent appearance and tend to run a touch firmer and more overstable than the same mold in other plastics. That extra firmness is the point: in heavily wooded courses or on rugged terrain, Champion rims resist deformation from tree strikes and rocky landings far better than softer blends, which is what allows the disc to keep its molded flight shape across hundreds of throws. The plastic is the standard recommendation for professional and serious tournament players, and most Champion molds remain available for custom hot stamping. Premium plastics hold listed flight numbers far longer; baseline plastics deepen turn and soften fade within weeks.
