Buzzz OS First Run Z (6)

The Discraft Buzzz OS is a midrange with flight numbers 5/4/0/3, placing it firmly in the overstable category thanks to a strong 3-point fade paired with neutral high-speed turn. At full power it holds the released line with no noticeable turn, then transitions into a reliable, hard-finishing fade that resists wind and torque. This makes it a dependable forehand midrange, a wind-fighting approach disc and a tool for shaped hyzer lines that need to come back consistently. As the disc seasons, the fade softens and the flight drifts toward a straighter, more neutral profile, eventually behaving closer to a regular Buzzz with reliable late finish. Discraft premium plastics such as Z, Big Z, ESP and FLX hold the listed 5/4/0/3 flight longest, while baseline plastics like Pro D and X season faster toward a more understable, less overstable feel.

Plast: Z: Discraft Z is the foundational premium blend in the lineup, a firm, slightly translucent plastic with a glassy surface and excellent shape retention. The rim feels hard and crisp in the hand, suiting power throwers who want overstable drivers to hold their fade for the long haul. Z resists chipping and scuffing better than most opaque blends, and stamp foils tend to read cleanly against the semi-transparent base. Cold weather can make the surface feel slick. Premium plastics like Z hold listed flight numbers far longer, while baseline plastics deepen turn and soften fade within weeks.
