About the Thunderbird

Designed with precision and built for flight, the Thunderbird from Innova is your go-to fairway driver when consistency matters. With flight numbers Speed 9.0, Glide 5.0, Turn 0.0, and Fade 2.0, this fairway driver offers a flight pattern suited for advanced players. Glide like this makes it a favorite for both power arms and finesse throwers alike. Not afraid of wind, this disc wraps up its flight with dependable stability. Great for forehands, backhands, or tricky lies where trust is everything.

The plastic: Champion

Champion plastic from Innova is a premium quality plastic that maintains a similar flight even after multiple tree hits. Discs in Champion plastic are typically more stable and transparent.

How it flies now

Condition 6. Seasoned. Thrown many rounds, scratches and minor rim dings, but in fully good shape. This is where it has settled: less fade, more glide, and on a flat release it goes straight where a new one would have hyzered out. Thunderbird is stable: new it flies straight with a clear fade at the end, seasoned it holds the straight part longer.

About used discs

A disc seasons as it gets thrown. The rim wears, the fade softens and the disc flies straighter than its flight numbers say. Premium plastic holds its shape for a long time, base plastic seasons in a few rounds, and an overstable disc takes it better than an understable one.
