About the Apollo

A reliable midrange disc from Alfa Discs, providing stability and accuracy for a range of throwing techniques.

The plastic: Chrome

Glow plastic from Alfa is designed to shine in the dark and withstand tough conditions. Ideal for night and snowy conditions, it offers high durability and consistent flight even with extended use.

How it flies now

Condition 6. Seasoned. Thrown many rounds, scratches and minor rim dings, but in fully good shape. This is where it has settled: less fade, more glide, and on a flat release it goes straight where a new one would have hyzered out. Apollo is stable: new it flies straight with a clear fade at the end, seasoned it holds the straight part longer.

About used discs

A disc seasons as it gets thrown. The rim wears, the fade softens and the disc flies straighter than its flight numbers say. Premium plastic holds its shape for a long time, base plastic seasons in a few rounds, and an overstable disc takes it better than an understable one.
