The Prodigy PA-1 is an overstable putt and approach disc built for consistency and reliability in any wind, with a 3/3/0/2 flight that resists turn and finishes predictably to the left for a right-handed backhand. It is a tool-first putter aimed at upshots, jump putts, scrambles around the basket, and headwind approaches where the line cannot move. Thrown flat it tracks straight before fading, and on hyzer it holds the angle without flipping up, which makes it a dependable utility option from inside the circle out to short approach distance. With wear the overstability softens slowly, but the disc retains a stable to overstable character rather than ever turning understable, so the flight stays trustworthy through a long bag life. It pairs naturally with more neutral putters used for putting itself. Prodigy offers it across the lineup: 750 and 500 sit at the premium tier with the firmest, most durable feel; 400 and 300 are mid-tier blends; 200 and AIR cover the baseline.
Plast: 350G: 350G is Prodigy's mid-tier grippy plastic, a softer textured version of the 300 line aimed at putters and approach molds where hand grip matters most. The G suffix marks the gummier cure, which gives the rim a tackier feel in cold and damp conditions and helps the disc grab chains on putts. Durability sits in the mid tier, slightly below firm 300 because the soft rim takes set faster against trees, but the trade-off is a much more confident grip. Many Nordic putters favour this blend for spring and autumn rounds. Premium hold listed flight far longer; baseline season faster, drifting into deeper turn and softer fade within weeks.
