The Slammer is a very overstable putter and approach disc from Dynamic Discs, built to handle powerful throws and laugh off headwinds. Its flight numbers of 3/2/0/3 (S/G/T/F) describe a low-glide, hard-finishing flight ideal for forehand approaches, confident hyzer throws, and accurate utility putts where a strong, predictable fade is essential. The combination of low glide and high fade keeps it locked to its line in tough conditions and makes it especially trustworthy on short, must-hit upshots. New, the Slammer is dependably overstable. With extended wear, the fade gradually softens and the disc moves toward a more straight-to-fade approach disc, but it is very unlikely to ever turn understable. The orbit ring is a cosmetic and light grip feature — it gives the disc a distinctive look and rim feel but does not change the base plastic family. Flight follows the underlying Lucid or Fuzion base; the ring does not affect stability, glide, turn or fade. On the second-hand market, the two-tone look is popular and gives Orbit runs a small visual premium and steady collector appeal, though weight, mold and condition still drive most of the value.
