D2 Pro 400 (7)

The Prodigy D2 Pro is a high-speed distance driver rated 12/5/-1/3 (S/G/T/F), and despite the small negative turn number on paper it sits in the overstable category thanks to its strong fade and resistance to turn. The slimmer profile feels similar in the hand to the D2 Max, but the D2 Pro cranks up the overstability significantly, giving stronger arms a flight similar to the D1 with slightly less glide and a stronger finish. Out of the hand it tracks a controlled line that resists high-speed turn even on full-power releases and finishes with a hard, dependable fade. As it wears, the disc straightens and softens into a true stable distance driver that still hooks left for right-handed backhand throwers but offers a longer straight section through the flight. Made in lighter-weight AIR plastic for grip and comfort. Prodigy offers premium plastics in 750 and 500, mid-tier 400 and 300, and baseline options in 200 and AIR.

Plast: 400: 400 is Prodigy's mid-premium plastic, a translucent firm blend that sits above the baseline 300 series and below the top-tier 500 line. It is the brand's most popular everyday premium option, used widely across drivers and midranges where players want lasting stability without paying for the flagship blend. The rim resists chipping on trees and rocks, and stamps stay crisp for many rounds. Flight numbers track stamped values for a long beat-in window before the disc settles into a slightly more understable pocket. Premium hold listed flight far longer; baseline season faster, drifting into deeper turn and softer fade within weeks.
