Gorgon First Run Star (8)

The Gorgon is an understable distance driver with flight numbers 10/6/-2/1 (S/G/T/F) that merges the feel and precision of a fairway driver with the reach of a distance driver. Its intended flight is an arrow-straight glide with a steady, modest fade at the end, giving controllable distance without demanding maximum power. With moderate effort it holds the release angle, rides flat for a long stretch, and finishes with a gentle left-finishing fade rather than a hard hook. As the Gorgon seasons it becomes more understable, the high-speed turn deepens, and it transitions toward a workable hyzer-flip and turnover driver, with the GStar version showing even more high-speed turn from the start. Premium Innova plastics such as Star, Champion, GStar, Halo Star, and Blizzard Champion hold the listed flight numbers longest, while baseline plastics like DX, Pro, and R-Pro season faster and move toward a more understable, flippier profile sooner.

Plast: Star: Star is Innova's flagship premium blend, combining the long-haul durability of Champion with grip closer to the Pro family. Star discs share the same flight characteristics as their Champion counterparts but feel slightly less firm in the hand, which suits players who want premium flight retention without the slick rim. The blend resists dome change and rim damage well over hundreds of throws, and many Star molds are available for custom hot stamping. As a premium plastic, Star holds its listed flight numbers far longer than baseline blends, which season faster within a few weeks of regular play into deeper turn and softer, earlier fade.
