Discraft Scorch is a distance_driver with a flight profile of 11/6/-2/2. The pronounced -2 turn places it in the understable bracket, but the high glide of 6 paired with a fade of 2 gives it a long, floating S-line rather than a pure turnover shape. Thrown flat with power it shows clear high-speed turn, rides forever on its glide, and still recovers with a workable fade at the very end. Moderate arms can throw it flat for easy long straight shots, while bigger arms can shape big, flowing S-curves down open fairways. Hyzer-flip releases stand up cleanly and ride for a very long time before fading. As the disc seasons the turn will deepen and the finishing fade will soften, pushing the flight further into flippy territory and eventually toward dedicated roller use. Premium plastics such as Z, Big Z, ESP, FLX and Titanium preserve the rated shape longest, while baseline Pro D will season into a flippier long-distance driver more quickly.

Plast: Jawbreaker: Discraft Jawbreaker is a premium grip-focused blend identifiable by its candy-like swirled, opaque appearance. The plastic is intentionally soft and tacky, prioritizing a confident hand feel for putters and approach midranges over the rim hardness valued in distance drivers. Durability is good for a grippy plastic but trails the harder Z and ESP options on aggressive impacts. Many throwers pick Jawbreaker putters for cold or wet rounds where slicker plastics lose grip. Premium plastics like Jawbreaker hold listed flight numbers far longer, while baseline plastics deepen turn and soften fade within weeks. Discraft's Signature Series is the brand's branded-athlete edition, a limited run that ties a specific mold to a sponsored player through a custom hot stamp and often a unique color treatment. The discs use the same Z, ESP, or Big Z chemistry as regular catalog runs, so flight performance and durability match the base plastic, with the cosmetic and the signature stamp as the main draw. Because the chemistry is unchanged, a Signature Series disc beats in and goes understable at exactly the same rate as a standard run in that plastic — the stamp, not the material, is what makes it collectible. Pricing typically sits between standard premium and the higher Tour Series tier, and limited quantities plus a rotating Team Discraft roster make these attractive both to players supporting a specific athlete and to collectors who track the catalog over time. Mint, unthrown copies hold their premium best, while a thrown Signature Series settles back toward standard Z or ESP resale once it is seasoned.
