About the M 4.1
The Tefat M 4.1 is a distance driver from the Swedish manufacturer Tefat, a refined revision of the M 4.0 understable distance-driver platform that the brand markets as a glide-heavy, easy-power bomber. With a wide 2.4 cm rim, a low 1.6 cm height and a max weight of 176.8 g, the M 4.1 sits in the high-speed driver class and is built to carry across open holes without demanding elite arm speed. In line with the M 4.0 family, expect a straight-to-understable shape from a flat release, a controllable turn through the middle of the flight that opens up easy hyzer-flips and long anhyzers, and a soft, dependable fade rather than a hard finish. The slightly stiffer 10.34 kg flexibility hints at the 4.1 being run in a firmer premium plastic that should hold the original character longer; baseline runs will season faster toward an even flippier, longer-S-curve feel useful for tailwind drives, rollers and reach-back distance shots from intermediate players.
The plastic: ET
ET is a relatively soft premium plastic blend from Tefat.
How it flies now
Condition 7. Barely seasoned. A few rounds, no heavy dings, lots left to give. The fade has softened a notch and it holds a straight line a little longer, but the flight numbers still hold.
About used discs
A disc seasons as it gets thrown. The rim wears, the fade softens and the disc flies straighter than its flight numbers say. Premium plastic holds its shape for a long time, base plastic seasons in a few rounds, and an overstable disc takes it better than an understable one.
