Discraft Venom is a distance_driver with intended flight S13/G5/T0/F3. With zero turn and a hard 3 fade it sits firmly in the overstable category, built to take torque from full-power throws and still finish reliably left for a right-hand backhand. Off the tee it tracks straight out of the hand, holds the chosen line through the power window without flipping, and then hyzers out late with a dependable, predictable finish. That makes it a strong tool for headwind drives, forehand flex shots, spike hyzers, and skip-out approaches where the disc must fight rather than glide. As wear accumulates the flight softens toward straight before eventually offering a touch of high-speed turn, but the late fade stays. Premium plastics like Z, Big Z, ESP, FLX, CryZtal and Titanium preserve the overstable shape longest and reward power throwers, while baseline Pro D or Rubber Blend break in faster and become more workable utility drivers for shapers and lower-arm-speed players.
Plast: ESP: Discraft ESP is a premium opaque blend with a slightly soft, tacky surface and rich, often swirled coloration. It splits the difference between the harder Z line and the grippier Big Z, making it a versatile home for fairway drivers, midranges, and putters that benefit from a confident hand feel without sacrificing durability. ESP holds shape well through tree contact and gradually beats in to a more controllable flight rather than going badly out of true. Stamp work tends to look painterly on the swirled base. Premium plastics like ESP hold listed flight numbers far longer, while baseline plastics deepen turn and soften fade within weeks.
