The Discmania Nordic Phenom PD is Niklas Anttila's signature take on the classic PD power driver, rated 10/4/0/3 S/G/T/F and sitting in stable-to-overstable territory with noticeably more glide and a straighter line than the standard C-Line PD. Out of the hand at full power it tracks long and true, resisting turn even into mild wind, then leans into a controlled, reliable fade at the end of the flight. Thrown with less power or as it wears in, the disc gradually opens up to a useful straight-with-finish flight that suits both backhand and forehand shaping. It remains an all-conditions control driver rather than a flippy distance disc, ideal for accurate gap shots and flex lines. Discmania premium plastics such as S-Line, C-Line, Metal Flake, Horizon, Lumen, Vapor, and Glow hold the listed flight longest, while baseline plastics like Active, Active Hard, and P-Line season faster toward a more understable feel.

Plast: S-Line: Discmania S-Line is the firmest of the brand's premium blends, with a hard, glassy surface that resists deformation through repeated impacts. The feel is slick and precise rather than tacky, suiting power throwers who want overstable distance drivers to keep their fade intact for hundreds of rounds. Translucency varies by run but the surface usually carries a clean shine that highlights stamp work. Cold weather can amplify the slick feel, so many players pair S-Line drivers with a softer putter. Premium plastics like S-Line hold listed flight numbers far longer, while baseline plastics deepen turn and soften fade within weeks. Discmania Special Blend is a small-batch one-off mixture combining pigments or polymer ratios outside Discmania's standard runs, often tied to releases or events. It is a blend variant built on an existing base plastic, not a wholly separate polymer family. Flight follows the underlying base plastic: Special Blend does not reliably make a mold more or less stable, and feel can vary slightly run to run. Wear rate and break-in (inkörning) inherit the base plastic's behavior. On the second-hand market the limited, one-off nature gives these runs collector appeal and they can command a small premium over standard runs when tied to a notable release.
