The Axiom Pyro is an overstable midrange driver with flight numbers 5 / 4 / 0 / 2.5, designed as Axiom's first overstable mid with noticeably more glide than the MVP Deflector and a commanding stable finish. The Pyro holds its line through strong winds and powerful throws without turning off target, making it dependable for forehand approaches, hyzer pushes, and consistent fade-outs at the end of the flight. Out of the box it leans on the overstable side, broken in it settles toward straight with a strong finishing fade, and a well-worn Pyro becomes a workable utility mid that still resists turn. GYRO plastic options include the premium Proton (often paired with the Prism triple-foil treatment) for a stiff, durable feel, alongside the more grippy baseline Electron and Electron Soft runs for putters' touch in cold or wet conditions.

Plast: Proton: Proton is Axiom's premium clear plastic, a fully translucent blend with a smooth, slightly slick surface that showcases dyes and stamps cleanly. It sits at the durable end of the premium tier, holding up well to tree contact and seasoning slowly with use. Proton is most often used on putters and midranges where a clean, controlled release is preferred over the tackier feel of Electron or Neutron. The clear character also makes it a favorite for custom dyes and limited-run cosmetics, which can push pricing slightly above standard premium runs. As a premium plastic, Proton holds the disc's listed flight numbers far longer than baseline blends, seasoning gradually over many rounds rather than turning over after a few weeks of regular play. Axiom Glow is the brand's phosphorescent plastic option, applied to selected runs of premium blends like Neutron and Electron so the disc charges under light and glows visibly during dusk and night rounds. The glow pigment is mixed throughout the plastic rather than coated on the surface, so the effect survives the same chips and beat-in that the underlying base plastic absorbs. Glow runs are typically priced slightly above the standard version of the same plastic because of the additive and the limited production windows. It is a favorite for glow leagues, late-summer dusk rounds, and players who want extra visibility on tight wooded fairways. Flight characteristics match the underlying plastic; the glow chemistry adds visibility without changing how the mold flies.
