About the Katana

The Katana by Innova fills a special role in your bag—designed to execute when the pressure is on. With flight numbers Speed 13.0, Glide 5.0, Turn -3.0, and Fade 3.0, this distance driver offers a flight pattern suited for beginners. This disc stays aloft with beautiful control, perfect for shaping long lines. Ideal for anhyzers that hold or flex lines that need control. Expect a consistent hyzer finish that locks in your landing zone. Whether you’re chasing birdies or saving par, this disc delivers under pressure.

The plastic: Star

Champion-Like Plastic: Similar in durability to Champion plastic but with a bit more grip; considered a premium plastic.

How it flies now

Condition 6. Seasoned. Thrown many rounds, scratches and minor rim dings, but in fully good shape. This is where it has settled: less fade, more glide, and on a flat release it goes straight where a new one would have hyzered out. Katana is understable straight from the factory: expect a flip to flat, and the more seasoned the more turn.

About used discs

A disc seasons as it gets thrown. The rim wears, the fade softens and the disc flies straighter than its flight numbers say. Premium plastic holds its shape for a long time, base plastic seasons in a few rounds, and an overstable disc takes it better than an understable one.
