Discraft Passion is a fairway_driver with a flight profile of 8/5/-1/1. The light -1 turn paired with a soft fade of 1 places it in the understable bracket: it leaves the hand with a touch of high-speed turn, then floats on glide 5 for a long, easy flight before dropping into only a gentle finishing fade. That makes it a forgiving control fairway for moderate arms, an effortless straight-flyer for stronger throwers, and a friendly hyzer-flip and turnover tool for shaping shots that need to hold their line rather than fade out. Tailwind distance lines and tight tunnel shots both come naturally; into a stiff headwind it will flex more than overstable fairways, so it rewards a smooth release. As it seasons it will trend further into understable and eventually flippy territory, well-suited to rollers in its later life. Premium plastics such as Z, ESP and Titanium preserve the rated shape longest, while baseline Pro D will quickly become a beloved beat-in straight flyer.

Plast: ESP: Discraft ESP is a premium opaque blend with a slightly soft, tacky surface and rich, often swirled coloration. It splits the difference between the harder Z line and the grippier Big Z, making it a versatile home for fairway drivers, midranges, and putters that benefit from a confident hand feel without sacrificing durability. ESP holds shape well through tree contact and gradually beats in to a more controllable flight rather than going badly out of true. Stamp work tends to look painterly on the swirled base. Premium plastics like ESP hold listed flight numbers far longer, while baseline plastics deepen turn and soften fade within weeks.
